Oslo, November 11, 2025 – Friday Networks AS today announces its new name: Wingmen Norge AS. The name change marks the next step in the company’s development as part of Springboard Network, bringing the Norwegian organization closer to its sister company, Wingmen in Denmark.
There are no changes to ownership, management, or organization. The company continues with the same people, the same values, and the same dedication to its customers.
“We are still the same company – but with a name that more clearly reflects who we collaborate with and where we are heading,” says Svein Lerkerød, Managing Director of Wingmen Norge AS.
“The name Wingmen represents the role we want to play – as a trusted partner that supports both our customers and each other. It also strengthens our Nordic identity and positions us for the future.”
Strengthened Nordic collaboration
The name change is part of a broader Nordic strategy under Springboard Network. Together with Wingmen in Denmark, the company now unites more than 200 specialists who advise and deliver Cisco-based solutions within AI, networking, cloud, data center, collaboration, and security.
A key focus area going forward will be Splunk technology and advanced security solutions. With their combined expertise, Wingmen is now even stronger as the leading Cisco Splunk partner in the Nordics, offering customers deep, cross-border specialization.
“The new shared brand allows us to work even closer together in fast-evolving areas such as AI, security, and observability. It’s a natural next step in our growth,” adds Lerkerød.
Partnership with Cisco
Cisco Norway welcomes the name change and the strengthened collaboration between the two Wingmen organizations. The company has long been a dedicated Cisco partner.

Same company – new opportunities
Founded in 2015, Friday Networks has built a solid position as a Cisco specialist in Norway. In September 2024, the company became part of Springboard Network.
With the new name, the group structure becomes clearer to customers, partners, and suppliers – while maintaining the company’s strong local presence.
“Our goal is not to be the biggest, but to be the best Cisco partner for our customers.
Together with Wingmen in Denmark, we now have a solid foundation for delivering integrated solutions across the Nordics,” says Lerkerød.
